6th Chapter

We [angels] were your allies in worldly life and [are so] in the Hereafter. And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request [or wish] -- ‌[41:31]

ইহকালে ও পরকালে আমরা তোমাদের বন্ধু। সেখানে তোমাদের জন্য আছে যা তোমাদের মন চায় এবং সেখানে তোমাদের জন্যে আছে তোমরা দাবী কর। -- ‌

As accommodation from a [Lord who is] Forgiving and Merciful." -- ‌[41:32]

এটা ক্ষমাশীল করুনাময়ের পক্ষ থেকে সাদর আপ্যায়ন। -- ‌

[For them are] gardens of perpetual residence which they will enter. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments therein will be silk. -- ‌[35:33]

তারা প্রবেশ করবে বসবাসের জান্নাতে। তথায় তারা স্বর্ণনির্মিত, মোতি খচিত কংকন দ্বারা অলংকৃত হবে। সেখানে তাদের পোশাক হবে রেশমের। -- ‌

And they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has removed from us [all] sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative - -- ‌[35:34]

আর তারা বলবে-সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহর, যিনি আমাদের দূঃখ দূর করেছেন। নিশ্চয় আমাদের পালনকর্তা ক্ষমাশীল, গুণগ্রাহী। -- ‌

He who has settled us in the home of duration out of His bounty. There touches us not in it any fatigue, and there touches us not in it weariness [of mind]." -- ‌[35:35]

যিনি স্বীয় অনুগ্রহে আমাদেরকে বসবাসের গৃহে স্থান দিয়েছেন, তথায় কষ্ট আমাদেরকে স্পর্শ করে না এবং স্পর্শ করে না ক্লান্তি। -- ‌

And We will have removed whatever is within their breasts of resentment, [while] flowing beneath them are rivers. And they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has guided us to this; and we would never have been guided if Allah had not guided us. Certainly the messengers of our Lord had come with the truth." And they will be called, "This is Paradise, which you have been made to inherit for what you used to do." -- ‌[7:43]

তাদের অন্তরে যা কিছু দুঃখ ছিল, আমি তা বের করে দেব। তাদের তলদেশ দিয়ে নির্ঝরণী প্রবাহিত হবে। তারা বলবেঃ আল্লাহ শোকর, যিনি আমাদেরকে এ পর্যন্ত পৌছিয়েছেন। আমরা কখনও পথ পেতাম না, যদি আল্লাহ আমাদেরকে পথ প্রদর্শন না করতেন। আমাদের প্রতিপালকের রসূল আমাদের কাছে সত্যকথা নিয়ে এসেছিলেন। আওয়াজ আসবেঃ এটি জান্নাত। তোমরা এর উত্তরাধিকারী হলে তোমাদের কর্মের প্রতিদানে। --

Indeed, whoever comes to his Lord as a criminal - indeed, for him is Hell; he will neither die therein nor live. -- ‌[20:74]

নিশ্চয়ই যে তার পালনকর্তার কাছে অপরাধী হয়ে আসে, তার জন্য রয়েছে জাহান্নাম। সেখানে সে মরবে না এবং বাঁচবেও না। --

And for those who disbelieved in their Lord is the punishment of Hell, and wretched is the destination. -- ‌[67:6]

যারা তাদের পালনকর্তাকে অস্বীকার করেছে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে জাহান্নামের শাস্তি। সেটা কতই না নিকৃষ্ট স্থান। -- ‌

When they are thrown into it, they hear from it a [dreadful] inhaling while it boils up. -- ‌[67:7]

যখন তারা তথায় নিক্ষিপ্ত হবে, তখন তার উৎক্ষিপ্ত গর্জন শুনতে পাবে। -- ‌

It almost bursts with rage. Every time a company is thrown into it, its keepers ask them, "Did there not come to you a warner?" -- ‌[67:8]

ক্রোধে জাহান্নাম যেন ফেটে পড়বে। যখনই তাতে কোন সম্প্রদায় নিক্ষিপ্ত হবে তখন তাদেরকে তার সিপাহীরা জিজ্ঞাসা করবে। তোমাদের কাছে কি কোন সতর্ককারী আগমন করেনি? -- ‌

They will say," Yes, a warner had come to us, but we denied and said, 'Allah has not sent down anything. You are not but in great error.'" -- ‌[67:9]

তারা বলবেঃ হ্যাঁ আমাদের কাছে সতর্ককারী আগমন করেছিল, অতঃপর আমরা মিথ্যারোপ করেছিলাম এবং বলেছিলামঃ আল্লাহ তা’আলা কোন কিছু নাজিল করেননি। তোমরা মহাবিভ্রান্তিতে পড়ে রয়েছ। --

And they will say, "If only we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze." -- ‌[67:10]

তারা আরও বলবেঃ যদি আমরা শুনতাম অথবা বুদ্ধি খাটাতাম, তবে আমরা জাহান্নামবাসীদের মধ্যে থাকতাম না। -- ‌

And they will admit their sin, so [it is] alienation for the companions of the Blaze. -- ‌[67:11]

অতঃপর তারা তাদের অপরাধ স্বীকার করবে। জাহান্নামীরা দূর হোক। --

The Day their faces will be turned about in the Fire, they will say, "How we wish we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger." -- ‌[33:66]

যেদিন অগ্নিতে তাদের মুখমন্ডল ওলট পালট করা হবে; সেদিন তারা বলবে, হায়। আমরা যদি আল্লাহর আনুগত্য করতাম ও রসূলের আনুগত্য করতাম। -- ‌

And they will say, "Our Lord, indeed we obeyed our masters and our dignitaries, and they led us astray from the [right] way. -- ‌[33:67]

তারা আরও বলবে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমরা আমাদের নেতা ও বড়দের কথা মেনেছিলাম, অতঃপর তারা আমাদের পথভ্রষ্ট করেছিল। -- ‌

O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous - -- ‌[2:21]

হে মানব সমাজ! তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার এবাদত কর, যিনি তোমাদিগকে এবং তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীদিগকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন। তাতে আশা করা যায়, তোমরা পরহেযগারী অর্জন করতে পারবে। -- ‌

[He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allah equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him]. -- ‌[2:22]

যে পবিত্রসত্তা তোমাদের জন্য ভূমিকে বিছানা এবং আকাশকে ছাদ স্বরূপ স্থাপন করে দিয়েছেন, আর আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করে তোমাদের জন্য ফল-ফসল উৎপাদন করেছেন তোমাদের খাদ্য হিসাবে। অতএব, আল্লাহর সাথে তোমরা অন্য কাকেও সমকক্ষ করো না। বস্তুতঃ এসব তোমরা জান। --
