This is my way (ISLAM); I invite to Allah with insight :12-No Sura Yousuf: Verse-108.”

Da’wah for All

What Is Da’wah?

Da’wah is to spread knowledge about Islam. Spreading knowledge is obligatory for every Muslim. The Quran gives us guidance on how to do it.

‘Invite all to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth, best who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance.’ Quran: 16:125

Calling people to Allah (Swt) also means completing our own worship, the reason for which we are created. It is one of the noblest acts that Allah gives a high reward for.

‘Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong; they are the ones to attain felicity.’ Quran: 3:104

‘Who is better in speech than one who calls men to Allah, works righteousness, and says “I am of those who bow in Islam?” Quran: 41:33

Da’wah can have many forms. Even a simple act of correcting a person’s misconception about Islam is a form of Da’wah, because you are erasing it and spreading knowledge.

Coming to a mutual common term with non-Muslims and also spreading love and kindness can be forms of Da’wah, as you are inviting people to Islam.
